Hey there, I’m Diane, and when I am not at the fire station, you can find me spending time with my family, writing, reading, and finding activities that take me out of my comfort zone. I am known for being slightly awkward, speaking what’s on my mind (in a pleasant way), working on myself, laughing, and living this one beautiful life of mine on my terms.
People often refer to me as being resilient, straight forward, and genuine. I see the world through a unique lens, and I love sharing life lessons from my life experiences and failures to help guide you on your journey.
The things I am most passionate about in life are my family, friends, self-care, and sharing my experiences.
My passion is to create a space where you feel welcome, validated, and safe.
I present to attendees at state, local, and national conferences about ethics, equity, helping organizations bridge gaps between management and workers.
When I am not working, you can find me creating, traveling, spending time with my family and our dog, doing yoga, or drinking wine with my favorite people.
If you are dying to hear more, here are three things you might not know about me
- Tattoos are my favorite form of therapy.
- I spent three weeks backpacking in Patagonia and almost.. died
- Coffee, wine, and good food are my love languages.
Yes! I want to receive semi-regular emails full of inspiration!
