Hey there, I’m Diane and when I am not at the fire station you can find me speaking about equity and equality in the fire service, writing, reading, and providing value for my crew. I am mostly known for being slightly awkward, speaking what’s on my mind, taking difficult topics and having tough conversations, laughing, and living this one beautiful life of mine on my terms.
People often refer to me as being dependable, straight forward, and the ability to see the world through a unique lens! I love serving the world by serving people. I have been in the fire service for 20 years and I come from a long line of strong female public servants.
The things I am most passionate about in life are my son, my family, my crew, my career, and helping women to overcome their anxiety about taking the leadership path in the fire service.
I work with women who are looking to advance their career in the fire service and want to grow into becoming powerful, intentional, and authentic leaders. I am lucky to inspire, encourage, and show these amazing women how to manage their time, be successful in the promotional process and stay true to their authentic selves.
As a leader in the fire service and advocate for equity and equality, I have been honored to present at several state, local, and national conferences.
When I am not working on how to help women you can catch me soaking in hot springs, traveling, spending time with my little man and our dog, doing yoga, or drinking wine with my favorite people.
