Heather Dirck grew up in Colorado and still calls it home. After earning degrees in journalism and strategic communication from the University of Missouri she began her career, which she’s dedicated to outreach for AmeriCorps NCCC, an awesome national service program. Back in high school, Heather thought she might write a book one day. A few decades later, she got around to it. She lives with her amazing family: her husband, her two sons (her favorite baseball players), two golden retrievers, and a cat who thinks he’s a golden retriever. Baseball mom since 2015.
