I’m Diane.
I spent 24 years in the fire service and left as a Battalion Chief, not because I was done serving, but because service started to look different.
My value never changed. My purpose did.
Now I help people extricate their own stories. I teach writing salons, speak nationally on leadership and transition, and gave a TEDx talk (⬅️) about the value of authenticity.
What I care about hasn’t changed since leaving the firehouse: service, connection, joy, and leadership.
I make art as an act of resistance.
