Did you know that dynamite is used to put out fires? Not all fires, of course, but dynamite is one of the most effective tools for extinguishing an uncontrolled oil well fire.  I love using dynamite for fires because it is unexpected, creative, and risky. While I have never used dynamite personally (not even fireworks for this girl) or professionally, I did spend 24 years in the male-dominated fire service disrupting norms, finding creative solutions to solve problems, and collecting life lessons along the journey.
